Conoco starts gas deliveries<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP) Conoco Indonesia Inc. started Tuesday deliveries
\nof natural gas to Singapore from its South Natuna Sea B Block,
\nthe company said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Conoco Indonesia, a unit of Conoco Inc., it is the last of
\nthree operators to deliver natural gas to Singapore via the 656-
\nkilometer subsea pipeline.<\/p>\n
The other two operators - Gulf Resources (Kakap) Ltd., and
\nPremier Oil Natuna Sea Ltd - started gas deliveries in January.
\nPremier Oil Natuna is a unit of British firm Premier Oil, while
\nGulf Resources is a subsidiary of Canadian firm Gulf Canada
\nResources.<\/p>\n
In 1999, state owned oil and gas company Pertamina agreed to
\nsell through contractors 325 million cubic feet of natural gas a
\nday for 22 years to Singapore's SembCorp Gas Pte.<\/p>\n
The gas sales are expected to generate around US$8 billion in
\nrevenue to be split between the Indonesian government and the
\nthree production sharing contractors.<\/p>",
