Congress library orders books<\/p>\n
MEDAN, North Sumatra: The U.S. Library of Congress in
\nWashington D.C., has ordered copies of the book, "The North
\nSumatran Press Struggle Against The Indonesian Communist
\nMovement", written by journalist Muhammad TWA.<\/p>\n
Yayasan Pelestarian Fakta Perjuangan Kemerdekaan, the
\npublisher of the book, said here Wednesday the 262-page book told
\nthe struggle of the North Sumatran press since the early years of
\nthe Indonesian "awakening", the movement toward independence, and
\nthe fight against communism.<\/p>\n
The book, published in 1996, is the third work by Muhammad TWA
\nto be acquired by the U.S. Library of Congress, according to
\nAntara.<\/p>\n
The two others are "The Struggle of North Sumatran People in
\nPictures" and "The History of Film and Theater in North Sumatra".<\/p>",
