The PFII Board is then obliged to submit a work plan and
budget for the use of the initial capital to the President for approval
within a maximum of 30 calendar days after receiving the initial
capital.

The LP PFII is an independent, transparent and accountable
institution in carrying out its duties and authorities.

The LP PFII is tasked with managing the operational affairs of the
PFII, as well as regulating and supervising other sector business
activities. Meanwhile, the LP PFII’s authorities include, among others,
providing administrative, operational and business support services, and
creating, maintaining and administering special lists or registers.

The LP PFII is also authorised to develop, operate and maintain
infrastructure, technology, facilities and services; to levy charges,
fees and/or contributions on Business Actors and other parties
conducting activities in the PFII; and to carry out other functions
necessary for or related to the LP PFII’s duties.

In addition to Danantara, the PFII’s initial capital may come from
business entities, state or regional assets provided through grants, and
other lawful sources in accordance with prevailing laws and
regulations.

The PFII Board is obliged to submit a work plan and budget for the
use of the initial capital to the President for approval within a
maximum of 30 calendar days after receiving the initial capital.

The work plan includes budgeting for pre-operational costs and the
establishment of the PFII, the LP PFII, the PFII Financial Services
Supervisory Institution (LPJK PFII), and the PFII Court.

Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries Rosan Roeslani
previously revealed that the initial capitalisation would be carried out
in stages.

“Yes, of course there will be stages.
