The\nimplementation of Law Number 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and\nStrengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK) is a strategic step to\nreinforce financial system stability, deepen financial markets, expand\nfinancing access, and enhance Indonesia\u2019s competitiveness in attracting\nglobal investment. Through P2SK, Indonesia has the opportunity to build\na more modern, inclusive, and competitive financial ecosystem.\nStrengthened coordination between regulators, financial service\ninstitutions, and industry players is expected to create a more\nresilient financial system, bolster the capital market as a source of\nlong-term financing, and drive growth in the real sector and national\ninvestment. Beyond strengthening the financial sector, P2SK also opens\nopportunities to improve Indonesia\u2019s position in the global value chain\nthrough the development of the natural resources ecosystem, the\nstrengthening of Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI), and the\ndevelopment of a Mineral Exchange as a step towards Indonesia becoming a\nglobal commodity price reference. On the other hand, optimising the role\nof state-owned enterprise (BUMN) issuers and strategic companies is\nexpected to increase capital market liquidity while supporting the\ncompetitiveness and performance of the national stock market. The\nfinancial sector reform through P2SK is also a momentum to propel\nIndonesia as an international financial hub. Supported by innovation,\ndigitalisation, and regulatory certainty, Indonesia has the potential to\nattract larger global investment flows, strengthen its position as an\ninvestment destination, and enhance national economic competitiveness\namidst the changing global economic landscape. To this end, in driving\nsustainable economic growth amidst global uncertainty, CNBC Indonesia is\nholding the Investment Forum 2026 with the theme \u2018P2SK: Driving\nIndonesia\u2019s Stability, Investment, and Competitiveness\u2019, on Wednesday,\n15 July 2026, at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, at 14.00 WIB.
