        "content": "<p>The structure of the Red and White Cabinet in the era of President\nPrabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka has undergone several\nchanges compared to the era of Joko Widodo.<\/p>\n<p>These changes include the splitting of ministries, changes in\nnomenclature, and the formation of new ministries and coordinating\nministries (Kemenko), resulting in a larger government structure and\nquantity than the previous cabinet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Several Ministries Split<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the most significant changes occurred within the Ministry of\nLaw and Human Rights, which has now been separated into the Ministry of\nLaw, the Ministry of Human Rights, and a ministry handling immigration\nand correctional services.<\/p>\n<p>Education has also been split into the Ministry of Basic and\nSecondary Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and\nTechnology, and the Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>Similar splits have occurred in the Ministry of Public Works and\nHousing, the Ministry of Villages and Transmigration, the Ministry of\nEnvironment and Forestry, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, and the\nMinistry of Tourism and Creative Economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Coordinating Ministries and Ministries\nEmerge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the splits, several new structures have been\nintroduced. At the coordinating ministry level, the Prabowo era has\nadded five Kemenko: the Coordinating Ministry for Law, Human Rights,\nImmigration and Correctional Services; the Coordinating Ministry for\nFood; the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment; the\nCoordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development; and\nthe Coordinating Ministry for Downstreaming and Energy Transition.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, new ministries include the Ministry of Protection of\nIndonesian Migrant Workers and the Ministry of Population and Family\nDevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>As of 1 October 2026, the coordinating ministry structure will\nfurther expand with the Coordinating Ministry for Downstreaming and\nEnergy Transition, led by Bahlil Lahadalia.
