Complaint<\/p>\n
I am writing to your newspaper as there are no other avenues
\nthat I can go to in order to lodge a complaint about the customer
\nservice at Louis Vuitton, a luxury goods store located in Plaza
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
I visited the store in early January 1994 and sent my handbag
\nfor repair. At the time, the staff informed me that it would be
\nsent to Singapore and that they did not have any idea as to when
\nit might be ready. It has been five months now. I have inquired
\nseveral times on the status but was told (on my last visit) to
\ncheck with Singapore myself if I wanted to know the status.<\/p>\n
Every time I inquired, they promised to check and call me but
\ntill now, I have not received a single phone call. In addition to
\nthat, I was told there is no store manager if I wanted to lodge a
\ncomplaint and that I could only complain to the staff there.<\/p>\n
I am fed up with waiting and approaching the store as none of
\nthe staff can help me on this. I am convinced that this is not
\nthe way other Louis Vuitton stores would treat their customers. I
\nhope the management realizes that in order to compete in the
\nretailing industry, they have to offer good customer service and
\nnot just rely on the products itself.<\/p>\n
