        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The complainant in the alleged sexual\nharassment case involving suspect Sheikh Ahmad Al Misry alias SAM, Mahdi\nAlatas, stated that SAM is currently being held by Egyptian authorities.\nAccording to Mahdi, the detention occurred shortly after the alleged\nsexual harassment case came to public attention in Indonesia. \u201cThere (in\nEgypt) he has already been detained. Ahmad Misry was detained starting\nfrom 23 April. So, the first time I spoke up was on 22 April, and on the\n23rd he was detained,\u201d said Mahdi at the Bareskrim Polri building in\nJakarta on Monday (11\/5\/2026). Mahdi said that after being released for\none day, Ahmad Al Misry was detained again on 27 April 2026.
