        "content": "<p>REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA \u2014 The Jakarta East Class I TPI Immigration\nOffice is strengthening the prevention of human trafficking offences\n(TPPO) and people smuggling offences (TPPM) through an area-based\napproach. This effort involves engaging sub-district apparatus and the\ncommunity in early detection of potential violations.<\/p>\n<p>The socialization event for the Immigration Mentoring Village\nProgramme was held in Cipinang Muara sub-district on Tuesday\n(21\/4\/2026). The event also included the signing of a memorandum of\nunderstanding among related agencies regarding the handling of TPPO and\nTPPM.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Jakarta Immigration Region Office, Directorate General of\nImmigration, DKI Jakarta, Pamuji Rahardja, stated that strengthening\nimmigration oversight must start at the local level. \u201cCommunity\ninvolvement is crucial to prevent human trafficking practices,\u201d he said\non Tuesday (28\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The socialization materials covered immigration regulations, early\ndetection of social conflicts, and the importance of accurate population\ndata.
