        "content": "<p>Commission probes gripes against judges<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: More than three months after its official<br>\ninauguration, the Judicial Commission has already received 268<br>\ncomplaints against members of the judiciary.<\/p>\n<p>Commission chairman Busyro Muqqodas said on Friday that most<br>\nof the complaints filed by the public focussed on unethical and<br>\nunbecoming conduct on the part of judges.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Some 90 percent of the cases concern judicial conduct,&quot; he<br>\nsaid, adding that the seven-member Commission had already dealt<br>\nwith 35 cases.<\/p>\n<p>He said that with the recruitment of more expert staff, the<br>\nCommission would be able to speed up its work.<\/p>\n<p>The Judicial Commission is mandated to supervise the country&apos;s<br>\ncourt system, which critics say has long been plagued by endemic<br>\ncorruption. -- Detik.com<\/p>",
