Commission agrees on work week<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: The Constitutional Commission decided on Wednesday to
\nspend only three days a week, from Monday through Wednesday, to
\ndiscuss how to make the newly amended Constitution congruous.<\/p>\n
Commission members will gather input from the public on
\nThursday and Friday and have two days off on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
\"Every Thursday and Friday we will personally collect input
\nand study the debates among MPR members when they deliberated
\namendments to the Constitution,\" said commission chairman Sri
\nSoemantri, referring to the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR).<\/p>\n
According to Soemantri, the commission will produce academic
\nassessments on the amended Constitution and recommend revisions
\nat the end of its work.<\/p>\n
In order to help the commission, the public is invited to
\nsubmit input. The public can send input directly to the
\nsecretariat of the Constitutional Commission at the MPR building
\nor send via e-mail: suparti@mpr.go.id. -- JP<\/p>",
