        "content": "<p>Astra Financial, in collaboration with the Financial Services\nAuthority (OJK), has organised a Training of Trainers programme for\nfinancial literacy ambassadors, attended by at least 1,000 participants.\nHeld at the UNY Hotel Ballroom, the event was integrated with the\n\u2018Gerakan Cakap Keuangan\u2019 (Financial Proficiency Movement) seminar,\nfeaturing speakers from OJK, financial practitioners, and executives\nfrom Astra Financial, a financial conglomerate under the Astra\nInternational Business Group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis event is a manifestation of our commitment to supporting the\nstrengthening of financial literacy in Indonesia. We are working with\nvarious stakeholders to achieve this goal,\u201d said Hugeng Gozali,\nPresident Director of Astra Financial, in Yogyakarta on Saturday\n(12\/9).<\/p>\n<p>Hugeng added that through this activity, 1,000 participants were\ninaugurated as \u2018OJK Peduli\u2019 Ambassadors, who will serve as drivers of\nfinancial literacy within the community. These participants include\nemployees, students, village activists, and facilitators for micro,\nsmall, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by the Head of the OJK Department of Financial\nLiteracy and Inclusion, M. Ismail Riyadi; the Head of OJK for the\nSpecial Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Eko Yunianto; and Astra Director and\nDirector In-Charge of Astra Financial, Siswadi.<\/p>\n<p>In his keynote speech, Ismail revealed that while financial inclusion\nin Indonesia has reached 93%, the financial literacy rate stands at only\n69.57%. \u201cThe gap of more than 20% between inclusion and literacy is a\nchallenge. This means financial literacy must be increased\u2014not just\nunderstanding, but also knowing, followed by changes in attitude and\nbehaviour,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that OJK highly appreciates Astra Financial\u2019s efforts to\nimprove financial literacy levels through training and workshops that\nreach more members of the community.<\/p>",
