        "content": "<p>Coalition seeks House top posts<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: After failing to help Megawati Soekarnoputri retain<br>\nthe presidency, a coalition of major parties in the House of<br>\nRepresentatives is eying the House's leadership posts.<\/p>\n<p>United Development Party (PPP) leader Hamzah Haz said on<br>\nMonday the coalition would fight for the House speakership and<br>\nthree deputy posts in an election on Oct. 1.<\/p>\n<p>Hamzah, who is also the Vice President, said the four<br>\npolitical parties grouped in the coalition remained united.<\/p>\n<p>The so-called Nationhood Coalition consists of PPP, Golkar,<br>\nthe Prosperous Peace Party (PDS) and the Indonesian Democratic<br>\nParty of Struggle (PDI-P).
