It is ridiculous how Australians have behaved toward Indonesia
\nin general after Corby was sentenced by the Denpasar District
\nCourt in Bali to 20 years. They are using emotions rather than
\nbrains in dealing with the matter.<\/p>\n
Australians should clean up their own backyard first and catch
\nthe corrupt Australian airport official who planted the four
\nkilograms of marijuana in Corby's luggage. He is responsible for
\nthe 20 year sentence. The court in Bali was just carrying out its
\nduty.<\/p>\n
Bali's prisons are crammed with foreigners who have been
\ncaught bringing drugs into Bali. The island is flooded with
\nforeign and domestic tourists and therefore remains a lucrative
\ndrug market. In the 1980s, Malaysia hanged two Australians who
\nsmuggled drugs into their country.<\/p>\n
Corby should be grateful that she was caught in Indonesia
\nrather than Malaysia. Bali will survive without Australian
\nvisitors as the majority of tourists are the Japanese and now
\nChinese from mainland China who have only recently discovered the
\nbeauty of Bali and are now flocking to this exotic island.<\/p>\n
