        "content": "<p>Clean and real democracy<\/p>\n<p>I would like to contribute my thoughts -- how dare Australia<br>\ntake all the credit concerning East Timor.<\/p>\n<p>I wonder how the Australian government (John Howard) can give<br>\nall the credit to its armed forces for the freedom of East Timor,<br>\nby saying, \"it's because of Australian military personnel inside<br>\nthe United Nations forces securing East Timor that they have<br>\ntheir freedom.\"<\/p>\n<p>Why couldn't they appreciate the new Indonesian government<br>\n(Abdurrahman Wahid) or at least give it some credit? Because we<br>\nknow that it was the new Indonesian government which withdrew<br>\nfrom East Timor, acknowledging the mistake that it had made in<br>\nthe past by integrating the place, and because Indonesia, having<br>\na reform spirit, is to create a new, clean and real democracy.<\/p>\n<p>ARINDAM C.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta<\/p>",
