City to seal supermarket<\/p>\n
BEKASI: Head of Bekasi city spatial agency, Kamaludin Djaini,
\nsaid on Saturday that his office may seal the Makro and Carry
\nsupermarket building on Jl. Hasibuan, Margajaya district, because
\nit was built without a building permit from the administration.<\/p>\n
"We'll give a deadline of Aug. 17 for the developer and the
\nowner to complete all the requirements before resuming
\nconstruction of the building," he was quoted as saying by Antara.<\/p>\n
He added that his office had sent three notices to the
\ndeveloper since July.<\/p>\n
Bekasi mayor Akhmad Zurfaih admitted that he had issued a
\nrecommendation to the developer to construct the business
\npremises.<\/p>\n
"But I told them to meet all the requirements ... I didn't
\nknow that they had not asked for environmental and traffic impact
\nanalyses from the environmental agency," he said.<\/p>\n
The analysis results are necessary to secure the building
