        "content": "<p>City project to face hitches<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The municipality's planned pilot project to do<br>\naway with fences between various high-rise buildings situated<br>\nwithin one city block will face many hitches, a leading city<br>\nplanning expert said.<\/p>\n<p>Uras Siahaan said, \"This is because there will be many changes<br>\nmade in the city's planning methods,\" reported Antara yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The head of City Supervision and Development of the<br>\nMunicipality, Soeharto, announced on Monday that the main<br>\nobjective of the project, known as the urban design guideline<br>\nproject, was to redesign the area and make it more pedestrian<br>\noriented.<\/p>\n<p>He said the project will first be tried on the city block that<br>\nhouses Wisma Antra, the Bangkok Bank building and the new Migas<br>\nbuilding which is still under construction.<\/p>\n<p>He said eventually the three buildings will not be separated<br>\nby fences. \"This will make it easier for pedestrians in the area<br>\nto move around.\"(bas)<\/p>",
