Sudarsono says the<br>\nmunicipal administration and PT Modernland Realty Ltd. have<br>\nreached a consensus regarding the provision of public and social<br>\nfacilities by the developer.<\/p>\n<p>\"Currently the developer is building a housing complex and it<br>\nhas promised that it will build public and social facilities in<br>\nthe complex as required by the city administration,\" Sudarsono<br>\ntold reporters on Tuesday. He added that the facilities should be<br>\nhanded over to the administration by mid-1997 at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>Sudarsono warned the company that he would not hesitate to<br>\nstop issuing building permits and certificates for land<br>\nappropriation to the company should it renege on its promise.<\/p>\n<p>Any developer licensed to build a housing complex is required<br>\nto set aside part of the developed area for public facilities,<br>\nincluding parks, schools and mosques.
