JAKARTA (JP): National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia and its
\naffiliated airline company Merpati Nusantara have suggested
\npassengers use their city check-in facilities in anticipation of
\ntraffic congestion resulting from the construction of a flyover
\non Prof. Sedyatmo toll road that leads to Soekarno-Hatta airport.<\/p>\n
The project will cause bottlenecks that are likely to slow
\ndown traffic both to and from the airport.<\/p>\n
Using the city check-in facilities are recommended as flight
\npassengers may arrive late to check in due to traffic disruption.<\/p>\n
The project will only be completed in July.<\/p>\n
Garuda has opened all its eight check-in offices across the
\ncapital 24 hours a day, while Merpati provides the same facility
\nat Gambir railway station.<\/p>\n
Check-in for overseas flights must be made one hour before
\ntake-off at the latest and 30 minutes prior to take-off at the
\nlatest for domestic flights.<\/p>",
