        "content": "<p>Cirebon (ANTARA) - The Trade and Industry Office (Disperdagin) of\nCirebon Regency, West Java, is optimistic that the export performance of\nrattan-based products from the region will strengthen in 2026, in line\nwith the positive achievements in recent years. The Head of the Cirebon\nRegency Disperdagin, Suhartono, when contacted in Cirebon on Friday,\nstated that the export value of rattan and furniture products has\nremained relatively stable so far and shows a growth trend. He noted\nthat the export value from that sector was recorded at US$102.79 million\nin 2023, then increased significantly in 2024 to US$156.97 million.\nMeanwhile, in 2025, said Suhartono, the export value stood at US$126.84\nmillion, and this achievement still indicates positive performance. He\nconveyed that this export performance, particularly for rattan-based\nproducts, could strengthen again during the 2026 period despite the\ncurrent global dynamics. He explained that the rattan industry, as one\nof the mainstay exports, still uses imported materials, especially for\nfinishing processes such as petroleum-based varnish.
