        "content": "<p>Cirebon sultan dies of kidney failure<\/p>\n<p>CIREBON, West Java: The remains of Cirebon's late Kanoman<br>\nsultan were buried on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Sultan Muhammad Djalaludin died of kidney failure the previous<br>\nday in the Pertamina Hospital here, following nine days of<br>\nmedical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The remains of the hereditary ruler of one of the surviving<br>\nsultanates on Java island were laid to rest on Sembung mountain<br>\nin the afternoon during a traditional sultanic burial ceremony,<br>\nsaid Princess Arimbi Nurtina, one of the Sultan's daughters.<\/p>\n<p>The sultan is survived by 16 children from his three wives,<br>\nSultana Amanah, Sultana Suhermi and Sultana Srimulya.<\/p>\n<p>According to Arimbi, the sultan started complaining on Nov. 9<br>\nof fatigue. It was found that his blood pressure was high and he<br>\nwas immediately brought to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\"After medical treatment in the hospital, his health improved.<br>\nHowever, he started to deteriorate again last Friday, and finally<br>\nhe passed away on Monday,\" said Arimbi. -- Antara<\/p>",
