        "content": "<p>Ciputra to build 'superior school'<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA, East Java: The Ciputra Foundation, established by<br>\nbusiness tycoon Ciputra, will soon build \"superior schools\" in<br>\nthe CitraRaya housing complex here.<\/p>\n<p>The schools, which will range from kindergarten to senior high<br>\nschool, will open next year. Each class will admit a smaller<br>\nnumber of students and will apply teaching methods designed to<br>\nstimulate initiative and curiosity.<\/p>\n<p>The schools, according to a foundation press release, will<br>\nemphasize foreign languages. Kindergartners and elementary school<br>\nchildren up to third grade will be taught Indonesian as well as<br>\nEnglish, the two \"official\" languages of the school.<\/p>\n<p>From the fourth grade up, the students will be able to choose<br>\none of the two Asian languages offered: Japanese and Chinese.<br>\nJunior high school students will be allowed to add one European<br>\nlanguage, either German, French or Dutch.<\/p>\n<p>A 4.5-hectare plot of land has been reserved for the project.<br>\n(swe)<\/p>",
