The Cilacap Regional Coordinator for the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) has refuted claims of 100 fictitious kitchen points, asserting that the locations are merely still under construction. The denial follows allegations by the Acting Regent of Cilacap, who had claimed some points were situated in forests and cemeteries. The coordinator confirmed that over 220 of the approximately 300 registered points are operational, with the remainder in the development phase.

Regional Coordinator for the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG)
of Cilacap Regency, Yuda Prasetyo, has issued a denial regarding 100
SPPG points in Cilacap Regency, Central Java. The data was previously
disclosed by the Acting Regent of Cilacap, Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya. Yuda
stressed that there are no fictitious SPPG points in Cilacap. According
to him, the points in question are actually already registered and are
still in the construction process, hence not yet operational. “If what
she meant was 100 fictitious SPPGs, those are not fictitious SPPGs, but
SPPGs that are still in the preparation and construction process,” Yuda
said when contacted by journalists. He considered the term ‘fictitious’
inappropriate because all the recorded points do exist. It is just that
some are not ready to operate as they are still in the construction
phase. “Not fictitious. The SPPGs she might be referring to are still
under construction,” he asserted. Regarding locations in forests and
cemeteries, Ammy had previously mentioned there were allegedly
fictitious SPPG points located in forests and cemeteries. Yuda confirmed
that no MBG kitchens were built in burial areas. “Regarding the one in
the forest, it is because the western part of Cilacap still has many
remote areas. There are SPPGs built in remote areas, but not in forests.
As for the one in the cemetery, that does not exist. There are no SPPGs
in Cilacap like that,” he said. Data held by the SPPG Regional
Coordinator shows the number of registered points in Cilacap Regency
reaches around 300 locations. Of that number, the majority are said to
be already operational. “Out of around 300 points, 220-something are
operational. Then there are 114 that are still in the construction
phase,” he explained. Yuda acknowledged that there are still a number of
SPPG construction projects that have not been completed, even though the
National Nutrition Agency (BGN) set a 45-day work target from the
issuance of the work order. However, he noted that the delays could be
influenced by various technical and administrative factors. “It was
indeed found that several SPPGs have exceeded 45 days without
construction being carried out. There may be administrative obstacles or
other matters, we do not know the details,” he said. According to him,
the points that are not yet operational are evenly distributed across
the entire Cilacap Regency. “In all 24 sub-districts they exist, spread
across all sub-districts,” he stated.
",
