        "content": "<p>Cibinong eyes 7% rise in sales<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed cement producer PT Semen<br>\nCibinong expects to increase its cement and clinker sales to six<br>\nmillion tons this year from 5.6 million tons in 2000, the<br>\ncompany's media relations manager said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Nico Wattimena was correcting an article which appeared in The<br>\nJakarta Post on May 18. In that article, it was incorrectly<br>\nreported that Semen Cibinong expected sales to increase to 25<br>\nmillion tons this year from 22.3 million tons last year.<\/p>\n<p>\"Those are not the figures of PT Semen Cibinong's sales, but<br>\nthe national consumption,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The company operates four cement factories in Narogong, West<br>\nJava, and two factories in Cilacap, Central Java, which are run<br>\nby its wholly owned subsidiary PT Semen Nusantara.<\/p>\n<p>Semen Cibinong has been aggressively expanding its sales in<br>\nthe domestic market amid growing competition from other cement<br>\nproducers.
