Chronic garbage mess in Mampang<\/p>\n

Citizens of Mampang Prapatan, particularly Tegal Parang
\nsubdistrict, South Jakarta, have been complaining about poor
\ngarbage handling in the area, which has remained unsolved despite
\nall the reports to relevant authorities.<\/p>\n
For quite some time, people in the subdistrict neighborhoods
\nhave been messing their streets with garbage, which not only
\ncreates unpleasant sights but also poses health hazards. The
\nlittered household rubbish is only collected on certain days,
\nwithout any method being invented as a more serious attempt to
\nsolve the problem.<\/p>\n
At present, the Tegal Parang subdistrict administration has
\nnot made maximum effort to overcome the chronic mess while the
\nlocal residents are at a loss. The rainy season has begun and the
\narea is prone to floods, which will make things even worse unless
\nproperly tackled.<\/p>\n
