Choice to open hotel in Yogyakarta<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Choice Hotels Indonesia announced that its first
\n"comfort-branded" hotel, the Sejahtera Comfort Suites, will have
\nits soft opening in Yogyakarta at the end of December.<\/p>\n
Executive Chairman of Choice Hotels Indonesia David Schaefer
\nsaid that the Sejahtera Comfort Suites Yogyakarta will join the
\nexisting network of its five Clarion and Quality branded hotels.<\/p>\n
"We forecast adding five more hotels to our network, bringing
\nour total to 13 hotels with over 2,200 rooms in 1997 and two more
\nhotels in 1998," Schaefer said in a statement yesterday.<\/p>\n
The Sejahtera Comfort Suites Yogyakarta has 72 two-bedroom
\nsuites, 48 three-bedroom suites and 10 penthouses equipped with
\nsatellite TV, smoke detectors, kitchenette facilities and
\ninternational direct-dial facilities.<\/p>\n
He said that a further management agreement has been signed
\nwith PT Sejahtera Garden for the development of another 410-unit
\nproperty in Surabaya, East Java.<\/p>\n
Choice Hotels Indonesia is the master franchiser in Indonesia
\nfor the Choice Hotels International chain which currently manages
\n3,400 hotels in 38 countries.(04)<\/p>",
