"summary": "Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged officials to accelerate the development of the Xiongan New Area, a major urban project in Hebei province aimed at relieving Beijing's overcrowding by relocating state-owned enterprises, universities, and tech firms to the site comparable in size to Greater London. During his recent visit, Xi emphasised integrating technological and industrial innovation, with companies like Sinochem and China Huaneng Group already moving headquarters there, though the area remains sparsely populated nearly a decade after inception. This initiative, personally championed by Xi as a legacy project of national significance, underscores China's push for reform and innovation amid broader economic and urban planning goals.",
