The plan, approved by China\u2019s State\nCouncil, targets annual inbound tourism spending of more than 150\nbillion US dollars by 2030, and calls for higher quality tourism\nservices and a stronger global presence for China\u2019s tourism industry. To\nhelp achieve these targets, China will further streamline services for\ninbound tourists throughout their stay in the country. The plan calls\nfor expanding visa-free entry programmes and increasing international\nair and rail connections, while improving convenience in payments,\ntransport, communications, and accommodation, as well as optimising tax\nrefund procedures.
