        "content": "<p>China\u2019s Ambassador to Indonesia, Wang Lutong, has stated that his\ncountry respects Indonesia\u2019s decision to optimise the management of its\nresources, including by establishing a single-door export policy for\nstrategic resources. \u201cWe understand Indonesia\u2019s efforts to optimise the\nmanagement of strategic resources and enhance resource utilisation in\nthe context of national development,\u201d Wang said in an exclusive written\ninterview with ANTARA. When asked to comment on the establishment of PT\nDanantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI), he expressed China\u2019s readiness to\ncontinue strengthening policy coordination, creating a stable policy\necosystem for businesses from both countries, and expanding concrete\ncooperation to achieve mutual progress. Moreover, the industry and\nsupply chains between Indonesia and China are already deeply integrated,\nwith the two countries\u2019 economies being complementary and possessing a\nsolid foundation for cooperation. However, Ambassador Wang expressed\nhope that in implementing such policies, Indonesia would pay attention\nto the interests of all stakeholders, policy consistency and certainty,\nand strengthen research and studies as a basis for policy formulation.\n\u201cWe also hope that conducive supporting measures to maintain the market\nand facilitate business development can be enacted at the appropriate\ntime,\u201d he added. By maintaining market confidence in this way, an\nadequate business ecosystem for business operations and trade\ncooperation can be preserved, and cooperation between Indonesia and\nChina can grow even stronger, Wang said. The Indonesian government\nestablished DSI to manage and oversee export transactions of strategic\nnatural resource commodities. The company\u2019s formation was prompted by\nthe persistent practice of under-invoicing and transfer pricing in a\nnumber of Indonesia\u2019s export commodities over the years. In its initial\nphase, which runs until the end of 2026, DSI will oversee the export\nreporting of coal, palm oil, and ferroalloy commodities. DSI\u2019s role will\nlater be expanded according to the government\u2019s needs and the company\u2019s\nreadiness. Starting 1 January 2027, DSI is planned to act as a trading\ncompany that purchases commodities from exporters and sells them to the\ninternational market, with the sales proceeds returning to\nIndonesia.<\/p>",
