        "content": "<p>Beijing (ANTARA) - China has recently published a development plan\nfor the electronic information manufacturing industry covering the 15th\nFive-Year Plan period (2026-2030), stating that the sector will play a\ncentral role in the global industrial landscape.<\/p>\n<p>By 2030, industrial companies in this sector with annual\nmain-business revenue of at least 20 million yuan (1 yuan = Rp2,629) are\nexpected to record combined total revenue exceeding 30 trillion yuan,\naccording to the plan issued jointly by China\u2019s Ministry of Industry and\nInformation Technology and the National Development and Reform\nCommission.<\/p>\n<p>During this period, a series of competitive advantages in technology\nand products will emerge in sectors such as integrated circuits,\nadvanced computing, consumer electronics, basic electronics, and energy\nelectronics, the plan stated.<\/p>\n<p>The plan sets research and development (R&amp;D) investment intensity\nin the sector at 3.5 per cent, with the penetration rate of\nnew-generation intelligent terminal applications expected to rise\nsignificantly.<\/p>\n<p>Translator: Xinhua<\/p>",
