        "content": "<p>Beijing (ANTARA) - Openness is a fundamental policy of the Chinese\nstate, and China has never required its technology companies to reject\nforeign investment, the nation\u2019s top economic planning body said on\nFriday (May 22). \u201cChina supports its firms to integrate into the global\ninnovation network and to engage in exchanges and international\ncooperation that are mutually beneficial,\u201d said Li Chao, spokesperson\nfor the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China,\nduring a press conference. Foreign investment must comply with Chinese\nlaws and regulations and must not harm China\u2019s security or national\ninterests, Li asserted. Li added that China will continue to implement\nthe Foreign Investment Law, improve its business environment, and manage\nrisks effectively.<\/p>",
