        "content": "<p>Beijing (ANTARA) - China\u2019s Ministry of Commerce on Saturday issued a\nblocking order prohibiting the recognition, enforcement, and compliance\nwith United States sanctions imposed on five Chinese companies over\nalleged involvement in Iranian oil transactions.<\/p>\n<p>The five companies are Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refining Co.,\nLtd., Shandong Shouguang Luqing Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Shandong\nJincheng Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., Hebei Xinhai Chemical Group Co.,\nLtd., and Shandong Shengxing Chemical Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ministry of Commerce\u2019s announcement, the US measures\ninclude listing these companies on the Specially Designated Nationals\nList, freezing their assets, and prohibiting transactions with them.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2025, based on its executive orders targeting other countries,\nthe US has imposed sanctions on these Chinese companies over alleged\ninvolvement in oil transactions with Iran, a Ministry of Commerce\nspokesperson said on Saturday in response to the order.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson stated that the US actions have improperly\nprohibited or restricted normal economic and trade activities between\nChinese companies and third countries, as well as their citizens, legal\nentities, or other organisations.
