Seminar on Principles, Processes and Tools of Strategic
\nManagement<\/p>\n
The Swiss German University (SGU) is organizing an intensive
\nthree-day seminar for managers wishing to increase competitive
\nadvantage by efficiently designing and implementing strategic
\nplans.<\/p>\n
The seminar will be held at the Financial Club of Jakarta in
\nthe Graha Niaga building 27th Floor, which is located on Jl.
\nSudirman Kav. 58. It runs from Oct. 24 through Oct 26.<\/p>\n
The seminar is for business unit managers and also technical
\nor marketing\/sales managers who want to improve their knowledge
\nin designing strategic plans and understanding strategic
\nconcepts.<\/p>\n
The seminar will focus on knowledge and abilities required by
\nbusiness managers to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.<\/p>\n
It will cover three important elements of successful
\nstrategies:<\/p>\n
* Understanding the dynamics of your business<\/p>\n
* Building competitive advantage<\/p>\n
* Putting strategy into practice.<\/p>\n
The seminar will be led by Dr. Hans Jaeger of the Swiss German
\nUniversity; a Professor for Strategic Management and former
\npresident of the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen,
\nSwitzerland.<\/p>\n
Professor Jaeger has broad experience in Strategic Management
\nas President and Director Asia\/Pacific of a large Swiss-based
\ntechnology corporation as well as head of the strategic committee
\nof Corporate Executive Management.<\/p>\n
