        "content": "<p>Cheap land sought for new terminal<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The city administration has recommended two<br>\nseparate plots of land that could house the new bus terminal to<br>\nreplace the overcrowded Pulogadung terminal.<\/p>\n<p>One of the plots belongs to state housing company PT Perumnas<br>\nand the other to private construction company PT Rodiol Eron.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Governor of Development Affairs Budihardjo Soekmadi<br>\nsaid on Monday that due to limited funds, the city would select<br>\nthe cheapest land.<\/p>\n<p>The two plots are situated in Pulogebang in East Jakarta,<br>\nwhich borders West Java town of Bekasi.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The selection is still being discussed by the city<br>\ndevelopment planning board, the city planning agency and the city<br>\nland transportation agency,&quot; Budihardjo told a media briefing.<\/p>\n<p>The relocation project has been planned since 1987, with the<br>\ncity administration having named PT Rodiol the contractor under a<br>\nbuild-operate-transfer scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Following financial problems suffered by the contractor, the<br>\ncity administration took over the project in October last year.<br>\n(04)<\/p>",
