        "content": "<p>Challenge to conscience of law enforcers<\/p>\n<p>Many people no doubt become frustrated when seeking justice<br>\nthrough the local judicial system. President Megawati, however,<br>\nhas her own judgment. In her address before the Indonesian<br>\ncommunity in Beijing, China, on Monday, March 23, she asked the<br>\ncommunity not to doubt the integrity of law enforcers.<\/p>\n<p>Megawati cited her own personal experience with the judicial<br>\nsystem. (Following the bloody takeover of her party headquarters)<br>\nshe won only seven of 200 cases in court. \"For me, winning just<br>\nseven cases was very important and compensated for losing the<br>\nother cases,\" she said.<\/p>\n<p>Temptation may deaden the conscience of legal enforcers.<\/p>\n<p>Today it seems the government is at the height of its fight<br>\nagainst corruption, collusion and nepotism. Many cases are being<br>\ntried.<\/p>\n<p>The government has given its word that it will stay away from<br>\njudicial matters, as it should. It is now up to the law enforcers<br>\nthemselves whether or not they, as President Megawati has said,<br>\nwill \"help assume responsibility to build this country\".
