Chain collision at Jagorawi<\/p>\n
Five vehicles were involved in a chain collision on the
\nJagorawi highway in Cililitan, East Jakarta, on Monday. No
\ncasualties were reported in the accident which involved a car
\nbelonging to a member of the House of Representatives (DPR).<\/p>\n
\"Nobody involved in the collision suffered any injuries, not
\neven a bruise,\" said head of the traffic police of the City
\nPolice, Maj. Irsan Wijaya.<\/p>\n
The accident happened at around 8 a.m. when a Mayasari city
\nbus hit a sedan driven by House member Suryo Handjono.<\/p>\n
As Suryo, who is a member of the Armed Forces (ABRI) faction
\nof the House, stopped his car to see the damage, a speeding,
\nunloaded light truck coming from behind lost control and smashed
\ninto two other cars behind Suryo's sedan.<\/p>\n
Impelled by the impact of the truck, the two cars then smashed
\ninto Suryo's car from behind.<\/p>\n
A speeding Peugeot sedan coming from behind also lost control
\nand hit the rear of the light truck.<\/p>\n
Irsan said that witnesses failed to record the license plate
\nnumber of the Mayasari bus which hit Suryo's car as the bus sped
