        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2013 The Jakarta Provincial Government will\ntemporarily suspend the implementation of Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan HR\nRasuna Said on Sunday, May 17th, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The temporary suspension is being implemented because there are still\nseveral evaluation points from the initial implementation of the CFD in\nthe area.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Provincial Transportation Department stated that the CFD\non Jalan HR Rasuna Said will resume starting in June 2026 after various\nimprovements and arrangements have been completed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CFD on Jalan HR Rasuna Said is planned to resume starting in\nJune 2026 every Sunday from 05:30-09:00 WIB,\u201d said Syafrin, quoted from\nhis statement, Sunday (May 17th, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to Syafrin, the implementation of the CFD on May 10th, 2026\nstill left several technical constraints in the field. One of them is\nthe lack of vehicle turning points on the east and west sides of the\ncorridor.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Transjakarta lane dividers have not been fully\ninstalled. The Jakarta Provincial Transportation Department also found\nillegal parking at several points during the implementation of the\nCFD.<\/p>\n<p>Other problems arose from the arrangement of MSMEs (Micro, Small and\nMedium Enterprises), which were deemed to be disorganized because the\nactivities of traders spread to the middle of the road.
