        "content": "<p>The Central Lombok Regency Government in West Nusa Tenggara supports\nthe temporary closure of free nutritious meal (MBG) kitchens during the\n2026 school year holidays. Assistant II of the Central Lombok Regional\nSecretariat Lalu Rinjani stated on Tuesday that the policy from the\nNational Nutrition Agency (BGN) to temporarily halt MBG distribution\nduring school holidays is excellent for efficiency and evaluating\nquality improvement programmes. He said that during the current school\nholidays, the public does not need to come to schools just to collect\nthe MBG menu. \u201cMBG distribution in Central Lombok remains in accordance\nwith BGN policy,\u201d he said. He added that his team, as the MBG task\nforce, continues to monitor and evaluate any reports from the community\nregarding the programme. He also stressed to the Nutrition Fulfilment\nService Unit (SPPG) to continue empowering local communities and\nleveraging the potential within villages, so that the MBG programme has\nan impact on local economic growth. \u201cEmpowerment of local communities\nmust remain a priority,\u201d he said. He noted that out of 192 SPPG units\nacross 12 sub-districts in Central Lombok, 175 are currently\noperational, leaving 17 yet to operate. \u201cThe number of beneficiaries\nreaches 444,000, including students as well as pregnant and\nbreastfeeding mothers,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
