        "content": "<p>Forecast for Central Java today, 6 March 2026, according to the\nMeteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), shows that\nextreme weather is likely to be widespread across 34 districts in\nCentral Java on Friday, 6 March 2026. Thunderstorms and high waves\npersist at sea.<\/p>\n<p>In Central Java, the morning is expected to be generally cloudy.\nLight to moderate rain is forecast to lash the eastern part of the North\nCoast of Central Java as it moves into the afternoon and evening, with\nrainfall intensities increasing and spreading more evenly across Central\nJava.<\/p>\n<p>Rain and storms are also forecast in the northern and southern waters\nof Central Java, accompanied by waves of 1.25-2.5 metres, which remain\nongoing. This poses risks to maritime activities such as fishing boats,\nbarges, and freight or passenger transport when wind speeds exceed 15\nknots.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Awas, bencana hidrometeorologi seperti tanah longsor, banjir dan\nangin puting beliung, kerana cuaca ekstrem berpotensi merata di 34\ndaerah di Jawa Tengah,\u2019 said BMKG forecaster Ferry Oktarisa of the Ahmad\nYani Semarang Meteorology Station on Friday (6 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Adapun daerah-daerah di Jawa Tengah berpotensi cuaca ekstrem, Ferry\nOktarisa listed Cilacap, Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, Wonosobo,\nMungkid, Boyolali, Klaten, Karanganyar, Sragen, Grobogan, Blora,\nRembang, Pati, Kudus, Jepara, Demak, Ungaran, Temanggung, Kendal,\nBatang, Kajen, Pemalang, Slawi, Brebes, Magelang, Surakarta, Salatiga,\nSemarang, Pekalongan, Tegal, Bumiayu, Majenang and Ambarawa.<\/p>\n<p>Other areas will experience light to moderate rain, according to\nFerry Oktarisa.
