Central Java Regional Police Head of Public Relations, Kombes Pol\nArtanto, confirmed that investigators from the Cyber Crime Directorate\nhave conducted examinations of E. \u201cInvestigators have also shared the\nprogress of the initial investigation results,\u201d he stated during an\ninterview on Tuesday (28\/07\/2026).<\/p>\n
However, Artanto noted that the Cyber Crime Directorate has not yet\nreached a conclusion regarding the suspected perpetrator. \u201cThe\nperpetrator contacted the victims via private message, but the name used\nis unknown or anonymous. The investigation must focus on identifying who\nsent the deepfake pornographic content. Therefore, the case remains\nbroad due to the anonymity involved,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
When asked to confirm whether there are indeed seven suspected\nvictims whose faces were edited into deepfake pornographic content,\nArtanto stated he could not yet provide certainty. \u201cOfficers have\nreceived information or statements from victims that others have been\nsubjected to the same treatment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
