        "content": "<p>The event was attended by dozens of Chinese businessmen who have\ninvested in Indonesia. At the occasion, Ahmad Luthfi expressed\nappreciation for the organisation of the event. He also invited the\nentrepreneurs to visit Central Java. The invitation reflected the\nprovince\u2019s openness to investment.<\/p>\n<p>For 2025, investment in Central Java reached Rp110.02 trillion,\ncomprising foreign direct investment (FDI) Rp50.86 trillion, domestic\ninvestment (PMDN) Rp37.64 trillion, and UMK Rp21.52 trillion. Meanwhile,\nin Q1 2026 investment had risen to Rp23.02 trillion with economic growth\nof 5.89%.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently around seven industrial and special economic\nzones spread across several districts and cities. In addition, twelve\nregions are preparing new industrial and special economic zones to\nsupport investment and the equitable distribution of the economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChina is one of the countries with the highest investment in Central\nJava, amounting to around Rp10.13 trillion,\u201d he said in a written\nstatement on Saturday (23 May 2026).<\/p>\n<p>At the event held on Friday (22 May), Luthfi conveyed Central Java\u2019s\nseriousness in developing the renewable energy economy (EBT) and waste\nmanagement. Central Java has around seven projects ready to be offered\nto investors in the EBT sector. These include solar photovoltaic (PLTS),\nmicro-hydro, biogas, biomass, swamp gas (gas rawa), waste-to-energy, and\ngeothermal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are opening wide opportunities for investment in waste processing\nin Central Java, which will assist our renewable energy efforts,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Cu Longhua, CEO of PT WOOK Global Technology, said the\nmeeting of entrepreneurs from various industries needed to be expanded\nfurther. The companies present offer high-quality industrial resources\nthat are highly compatible and can be applied deeply, encompassing\necological protection and compacted solid waste resources, using mining\nfor ecological restoration, the new energy industry, digital technology,\nhigh-end manufacturing, and modern agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, President Prabowo is actively promoting waste management,\nincluding turning it into electricity.
