Do not let the quality of services and\nperformance decline because of this WFH,\u201d said Luthfi in a written\nstatement on Friday (10\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>At the Central Java Governor\u2019s Office environment, activities are\nstill running as usual, but not as busy as previous days. This is\nbecause some civil servants (ASN), especially those whose jobs can be\ndone from home, are encouraged to work from home.<\/p>\n<p>This regulation is implemented as a follow-up to the circular letter\n(SE) from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the SE from the Central Java\nGovernor as an effort to save energy.<\/p>\n<p>Luthfi also stated that the WFH regulation has already been\nimplemented in several regencies\/cities. If there are still areas that\nhave not implemented it, it is because they are still under review.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe typology of regions varies. In practice, this concept will continue to be\nevaluated periodically.<\/p>\n<p>This includes tagging or location marking as well as reporting work\nactivities from home, with instruments already prepared by the Regional\nCivil Service Agency (BKD) of Central Java Province.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation also relates to the ability to save energy from the\nWFH practice. Currently, the results are not yet known because detailed\ncalculations are needed. In general, if employees who WFH do not come to\nthe office, fuel consumption can be reduced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEfficiency in the office also prioritises electricity costs and so\non.
