Semarang (ANTARA) - The Central Java Provincial Government has\nensured the readiness of public communication support and digital\ntechnology infrastructure for the implementation of the 31st National\nMusabaqah Tilawatil Qur\u2019an (MTQ).<\/p>\n
This readiness includes strengthening connections and signals,\nproviding a media centre, and installing videotron facilities to support\ninformation access for the public.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Central Java Communication, Informatics, and Digital\nOffice (Diskomdigi), Lilik Henry Ristanto, stated in Semarang on\nSaturday that his office is collaborating with the Semarang City\nCommunication, Informatics, and Digital Office, the Ministry of\nReligious Affairs, and the LPTQ to support the hosting of the National\nMTQ.<\/p>\n
According to him, the duties of Diskomdigi are divided into two main\nareas: public communication and media, and the preparation of digital\ntechnology infrastructure.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs of today, we are ready to carry out both. Of course, we will\ncontinue to update based on the evolving dynamics,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
To support media needs, Diskomdigi Central Java is preparing a media\ncentre in the main arena area of Simpang Lima.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn addition to videotrons, we are also providing a media centre. The\nmedia centre is located in the main venue area of Simpang Lima. There\nwill be 12 venues there, which will be broadcast from 12 different\nlocations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Central Java Provincial Government, alongside the organising\ncommittee, is also preparing four videotron points around Simpang Lima\nto accommodate members of the public who may not be able to fit within\nthe main arena.<\/p>\n
These locations include the Simpang Lima pedestrian path on the\nwestern side facing south, the southern side facing Jalan Parda, in\nfront of the Central Java Governor\u2019s Office, and the corner of the\nRegional House of Representatives (DPRD) Secretariat courtyard facing\nJalan Pahlawan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are the points we have prepared to anticipate situations where\nthe public comes to Simpang Lima and may not be accommodated due to high\nenthusiasm,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The public is also invited to attend the main arena in person and\nwitness the opening ceremonies, particularly for segments that require\nspace, such as the delegation parade and the flag-hoisting troop\n(paskibraka).<\/p>\n
The opening ceremony programme on Saturday night includes a ceremony,\na colossal dance, a record-breaking mass singing of the MTQ Mars, and a\nperformance by religious singer Opick.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis Musabaqah (National MTQ) event belongs to the community;\ntherefore, the public is welcome to attend during the opening and\nthroughout the event,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The capacity for the public in the main arena is expected to be quite\nlarge because not all areas will use chairs or tables; spaces previously\nused for the parade and colossal dance can be repurposed for the public\nto watch the main stage.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, we can ensure the capacity is quite large. It could potentially\naccommodate up to 1,000 people because there will be no chairs or\ntables,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
