        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - Central Java Provincial Police have uncovered\nsuspected illegal oil well drilling practices at three locations in\nPerhutani-owned forest areas in Blora Regency.<\/p>\n<p>Central Java Provincial Police\u2019s Director of Special Criminal\nInvestigation, Djoko Julianto, in Semarang on Tuesday, stated that the\nthree illegal wells uncovered during the period from March to April 2026\nhad been operating for around three months.<\/p>\n<p>The three illegal wells are each located in Kunduran and Japah\nSub-districts in Blora Regency.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators have named three suspects, each of whom are the\nmanagers and financiers of the illegal oil well operations.<\/p>\n<p>The three suspects are S (50), a resident of Blora Regency, B (34), a\nresident of Rembang Regency, and K (51), a resident of Rembang\nRegency.<\/p>\n<p>Police also seized several pieces of evidence, such as drilling rigs\ncomplete with pump engines, dozens of iron pipes of various sizes, as\nwell as crude oil that had been pumped and stored in several tanks.<\/p>\n<p>He said the pumped crude oil was still stockpiled and had not yet\nbeen sold.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that the traditional drilling activities conducted\nillegally endanger the environment and the surrounding community.<\/p>\n<p>For their actions, the suspects are charged under Law No.\u00a02 of 2022\non Job Creation.<\/p>",
