        "content": "<p>The Central Java Police Regional Command has prepared a local one-way\ntraffic scheme to anticipate congestion during the 2026 Eid exodus,\nparticularly on the Semarang toll road section.<\/p>\n<p>M Pratama Adhyasastra, Director of Traffic at the Central Java Police\nRegional Command, stated that congestion is expected to begin on 18\nMarch 2026, with potential vehicle queues stretching from KM 70 on the\nJakarta-Cikampek toll road to KM 421 on the Semarang-Solo toll\nsection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are anticipating this by implementing a local one-way scheme if\ncongestion occurs in the Semarang city area, extending the measure\ntowards Bawen,\u201d he said at the Kalikangkung toll gate.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that traffic engineering scenarios have been prepared\nbased on vehicle volumes. If traffic remains below 2,000 vehicles per\nhour, conditions will remain normal. However, if volumes increase to\n3,000 vehicles per hour, satellite posts will be established and patrol\nreinforcements deployed.<\/p>\n<p>In emergency conditions, specifically when vehicle volumes exceed\n3,000 vehicles per hour for three consecutive hours with speeds below 20\nkm\/h, a local one-way scheme will be implemented from KM 422 to KM 442\nat Bawen.<\/p>\n<p>Nasrullah, Director General of PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, stated\nthat the peak exodus traffic is expected on 18 March 2026, with\nprojections of approximately 68,900 vehicles passing through\nKalikangkung toll gate heading towards Semarang.
