        "content": "<p>Central Java Province received the award for third best in the\nInflation Control category at the 2026 Java-Bali Regional Government\nAchievement Appreciation event, held at the Yogyakarta Marriott on\nThursday night (4\/6\/2026). The award from the Ministry of Home Affairs\nwas presented by the Chair of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives, Siti Hediati Soeharto, and accepted by Central Java\nGovernor Ahmad Luthfi. In response to the award, Ahmad Luthfi pledged to\nimprove upon this achievement. He stated that his administration would\ninvolve all components and potentials within the community. Ahmad Luthfi\nconveyed that the award spurs hope for both the provincial and\ndistrict\/city governments within the region. He noted that the Central\nJava Provincial Government could not stand alone without the involvement\nof regents and mayors, extending even to village administrations.\n\u201cInflation control is crucial to ensure that the public\u2019s needs and\npurchasing power are met, both in terms of the availability of essential\nstaples and price affordability,\u201d he explained. Collaboration between\nthe Central Java Provincial Government, Regional-Owned Enterprises,\ndistrict and city governments, village administrations, and the banking\nsector is necessary to ensure that the distribution of essential staples\nreaches consumers properly. \u201cFor example, we can distribute shallots, we\ncan distribute chillies, so that affordability becomes key, and we can\nsuppress inflation,\u201d he stated. During the event, several district and\ncity governments from Central Java also received awards. In the\nCity-Level Unemployment Rate Reduction category, Magelang City was named\nbest first and Surakarta City best second. Semarang City achieved third\nbest at the city level for the Stunting Reduction category, whilst\nSukoharjo Regency was named second best at the regency level for the\nInflation Control category.<\/p>",
