        "content": "<p>Central Java hit by water shortages<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG: Several regencies in Central Java have been hit by a<br>\nclean water shortage caused by the approaching dry season,<br>\nGovernor Mardiyanto said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Among the regencies are Blora, Rembang, Klaten, Boyolali,<br>\nGrobogan and Semarang, he said. \"The first thing we can do now is<br>\ndistribute clean water to villages across the regencies.\"<\/p>\n<p>Mardiyanto also urged residents to be thrifty in using water,<br>\nas well as guard their health and watch out for possible diseases<br>\ncommonly found during the dry season, including diarrhea and skin<br>\nailments.
