        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - The Governor of Central Java, Ahmad Luthfi,\nexpressed that the hosting of the 31st National Musabaqah Tilawatil\nQur\u2019an (MTQ) in Semarang, Central Java, has brought a sense of peace and\ntranquility to the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor nine days, we have been together in a solemn atmosphere,\nglorifying the divine word,\u201d he said during the closing ceremony of the\n31st National MTQ at Simpang Lima Square, Semarang, on Saturday\nnight.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the recitation of holy Al-Quran verses at various\nlocations throughout Semarang during the event brought a serene\natmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe wisdom for Central Java Province and its 35 regencies\/cities is\nthat for nine days, it has been calm, peaceful, and free from any unrest\nregarding the MTQ,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The influence of the National MTQ, according to him, was even felt on\nsocial media platforms, which are typically crowded with various\ninformation of uncertain origin or truth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSocial media was filled with the Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran for nine\ndays,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to suggest to the Minister that, if possible,\nMusabaqah Tilawatil Quran should be conducted every day across all\nprovinces of the Republic of Indonesia,\u201d he added during the event,\nwhich was attended by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin\nUmar.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed hope that the implementation of the National MTQ could\nencourage people to perform more good deeds, including ceasing the\nspread of misinformation online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst, we must maintain the integrity and dignity of the MTQ.\nProfessionalism, objectivity, transparency, and accountability,\nespecially within the judging and assessment systems, must continue to\nbe strengthened,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Second, Central Java can strengthen MTQ development sustainably\nthrough participant regeneration, increasing the competence of coaches\nand judges, and strengthening Al-Quran educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Third, Central Java can synergise in implementing standardised\ntraining, participant selection, material preparation, judging systems,\nand MTQ governance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFourth, we must strengthen local government support, including\npolicy, institutional, and budgetary support, to ensure that Quranic\nrecitation development becomes increasingly robust and sustainable,\u201d he\nconcluded.<\/p>",
