        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi is planning a\ncollective cycling movement for civil servants (ASN) and officials as a\nstep towards energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEfficiency, we are waiting for the circular from the government,\nwhich insha\u2019Allah will be issued on the 31st (March),\u201d he said in\nSemarang on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>However, he stated that the Central Java Provincial Government has\nplanned at least several efficiency measures for ASN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Central Java Province has taken one step; we already have what\nis called 2,500 Energy-Independent Villages. We will maximise that,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned that the Central Java Provincial Government will also\noptimise the role of regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in the energy\nsector.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Central Java has the BUMD Jateng Agro Berdikari\n(JTAB), which is involved in managing natural gas and is already in use\nin several locations in Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>Efficiency will also target the mobility patterns of ASN, one of\nwhich is encouraging ASN and public officials to use bicycles and public\ntransport when commuting to work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have already made a plan (rencana), we have calculated it; if\nnecessary, tomorrow on certain days all ASN will cycle, with all regents\nand mayors.
