Cement plant to be built<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Finance Mar'ie Muhammad laid on
\nSaturday a corner stone for the foundation of a cement plant to
\nbe built by PT Semen Bosowa Maros in the South Sulawesi town of
\nMaros with an investment of Rp 535 billion (US$238.83 million).<\/p>\n
The president of the Bosowa Group, Aksa Mahmud, said that the
\ncement factory, designed to have a production capacity of 1.8
\nmillion tons per year, was expected to be completed within 23
\nmonths, so that the plant could start production in 1997.<\/p>\n
He said that 60 percent of the cement produced would be sold
\non the domestic market and the rest would be exported.(31)<\/p>",
