        "content": "<p>In an effort to build a generation of young people with strong\ncharacter who are ready to become leaders towards Indonesia Emas 2045,\nSMP and SMA Labschool across the Jakarta area simultaneously held the\nLari Lintas Juang (Lalinju) as part of the commemoration of the 81st\nAnniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Lalinju 2026 was participated in by students of SMP and SMA Labschool\nRawamangun, Kebayoran, Cibubur, Cirendeu, Bintaro, and Ciracas. The\nstudent participants ran from the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South\nJakarta to their six respective school locations.<\/p>\n<p>The activity, held on Monday (17\/8\/2026), was organised as part of\nthe character-building and leadership development process for students,\nparticularly for prospective OSIS and MPK board members.<\/p>\n<p>The activity brought together prospective OSIS and MPK board members\nwith outgoing board members, serving as part of a regeneration process\nas well as a transfer of values and leadership experience between\ngenerations.<\/p>\n<p>Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Komarudin, M.Si.,\nofficially led the national assembly and released the Lari Lintas Juang\nparticipants. During the assembly, participants received guidance on the\nimportance of emulating the struggles of heroes and maintaining national\nspirit as the next generation.<\/p>\n<p>Senior high school participants ran a distance of approximately 17\nkilometres, while junior high school participants covered approximately\n8 kilometres. These distances symbolise the date of the Proclamation of\nIndependence of the Republic of Indonesia and represent the spirit,\nresilience, and fighting power that a leader must possess.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Sumber Setia Berkah Foundation and Head of BPH\nLabschool Ciracas Hariyadi Sukamdani said the Lari Lintas Juang event\nserves as a momentum to foster a spirit of struggle and nationalism\namong the Labschool community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe fully support this annual Lari Lintas Juang activity, which aims\nto instil a patriotic spirit, love for the homeland, and maintain\nstudent fitness. Towards Indonesia Emas 2045, we need to prepare a young\ngeneration with high fighting spirit and national spirit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Principal of SMA Labschool Ciracas Risang Danardana said the\nparticipation of SMA Labschool Ciracas in Lari Lintas Juang reflects the\nschool\u2019s commitment to instilling values of patriotism, leadership,\ndiscipline, and an unyielding spirit in its students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLari Lintas Juang is not merely a sporting activity, but a medium\nfor character learning. Through the experience of travelling together,\nstudents learn about the meaning of struggle, togetherness,\nresponsibility, and leadership. We hope this experience shapes the\ncharacter of a young generation with a spirit of service, integrity, and\nlove for their nation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Risang, the Lari Lintas Juang tradition is a form of\ncharacter education that combines the values of history, nationalism,\nleadership, and togetherness. During the journey, participants carried a\nrelay baton of the Red and White Flag as a symbol of the\nintergenerational relay of struggle. The activity was carried out under\nthe escort of TNI and Polri personnel and supported by a medical team\nand ambulances to ensure the safety and security of all\nparticipants.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arriving at their respective schools, the series of activities\ncontinued with a flag ceremony and a handover ceremony for the OSIS and\nMPK board positions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this tradition, we want to foster awareness that the\nindependence we enjoy today is the result of a struggle that must be\nappreciated and continued through work, achievement, and responsible\nleadership,\u201d said Risang.<\/p>",
